UNION STEWARD SUMMER SCHOOL

This is a 2-part, virtual training that takes place over the course of 2 weeks. All OPEIU 153 members are welcome - whether you're a seasoned steward, a new steward, or interested in becoming one, this training is for you! Union Steward Summer School is a virtual space for rank-and-file leaders to learn the basics of union stewardship - from investigating and filing grievances, to keeping your bargaining unit engaged, to the TL;DR on labor law. NOTE: In order to graduate with your steward certificate and get your union steward pin, you must attend both sessions in their entirety! Please only RSVP if you can attend both days.
