The Farmworker movement has been led by women for decades whose contributions are often sidelined. This Womens History Month, we acknowledge the unjust burden that women have had to bear in movement spaces. We demand more for those who have had to hold so much over the years and we envision spaces of accountability and safety. Thinking about Dolores Huerta and countless other women of color, we celebrate their contributions and stand with farmworker women, organizers, and survivors of abuse.
